Halloween Coffins!
I had so much fun making these coffins! I used Woodgrain background with My Favorite Things as the coffin handles and made a couple versions of the casket lid using Batty for You and Black & White DSP from the Holiday Mini! They turned out great. I really lucked out when I found these skeleton gummies at the dollar store, too! I loaded the caskets/coffins with gummy worms, eyeballs, and/or the gummy skeletons and passed them out to some fun people! I know they liked them and it was really fun sharing a cool project like this!
Shake, Shake, Shimmer Paint!
I had fun with my friends experimenting with different ways to use Shimmer Paint (Champagne, Frost White & Platinum) this past week! Here are some fun shots of the ladies and some of our completed projects!

Shake, Shake & Shimmer!
Last night, I had a couple close friends over to create different cards using the Shimmer Paints from the Holiday Mini Catalog! WOW, these are gorgeous! We used a variety of techniques & methods with this product and you can come see for yourself just how easy and beautiful it worked out!! I LOVE SHIMMER PAINT!

Love the Shimmer Paint !!
Well, my least favorite thing to do is to HAVE TO make a sympathy card. However,Stampin' Up has a great many stamp sets and tools to do a wonderful job. I started out with a simple card but knew it wasn't quite enough. I used Strength and Refuge stamp set with Mellow Moss, Very Vanilla & Always Artichoke cardstocks along with matching ink pads with Certainly Celery ink, stamped off, for the cross!!! Here's my first card that needed more:
I added some coordinating ribbon (Mellow Moss taffeta) and also tried a new technique with the Shimmer Paint!! I added 12 drops of Champagne Shimmer Paint to an extra spray mist bottle that I poured 3/4 full of rubbing alcohol. I gave it a good shake then sprayed it all over the background cardstock and VOILA' it's a beautiful card!!
Here's the finished product! It's so much nicer than the simple card I started with! What do you think?
