Outside my comfort zone!

I've been skeptical about making special fold cards until this one! I saw this tutorial on SplitCoastStampers website and when I read that the finished size fits in a regular envelope, I gave it a try. I hope you like my results as much as I do!


I grabbed the Serene Scenery Designer Series Paper Pack and went monochromatic on my own design! Inks are Delightful Dijon and Early Espresso. Stamp sets are Vintage Leaves & Wetlands.

Dare to be Different!

Have you had a good look at the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog since it's debut on September 1st? Wow - It's filled with great products, isn't it? There's also many, many creative stampers out there who come up with unique and fun ideas for these stamp sets so, I have to share a couple with you.


This first one just too stinkin' cute! Lady Dee used the Cookie Cutter Halloween, which coordinates with the Cookie Cutter Builder Punch, Spooky Fun and Jar of Haunts. It's over the top! Look at all the detail! It's got to make you smile!

Next, is another combination of stamp sets to make a really beautiful card. Brian King used the Star of Light stamp set, Detailed Santa Thinlits Die and Red Glimmer Paper. Would you have thought to use Pool Party cardstock with Real Red for a Christmas masterpiece? It's another example of creativity at it's finest!

I love both of these cards. I hope you do too.
