It's time to say farewell to lots of the retiring stamps, accessories and Decor Elements! This is to make room for lots of NEW items to appear in the New Idea Book & Catalog which is released on July 1st! As a demonstrator, we not only get to view a few of the new items and preorder starting today - June 1st, but we also get a free New Idea Book & Catalog to drool through before anyone else, with our preorder! I LOVE being a demonstrator!! I'm so excited!

My Big Shot Cabinet!

A while back, someone posted how they purchased a tool caddy, the seriously expensive Tool Chest - red metal - rolling - with many drawers, and turned it into a Big Shot table. Not only did it work well with all the dies in the drawers, the Big Shot sat on top AND they decorated the sides with the Serif Alphabet punched out and some designs from the Decor Elements sheets! It was sweet! I was jealous and certainly didn't have $459 to purchase a new one (here it is in pink from Sears, and they have it in a lime green too (my favorite color=green))!So, I pouted a little then asked my husband to make me something! He asked for the dimensions that I wanted and VOILA, it's perfect! It may not be decorated nor is it my favorite color green, but it's GREAT! I had to label the XL dies so that I could see what each one was without pulling them all out to find the one I was looking for. The other dies would stand on their ends with their labels facing out, so it worked perfect!


The green basket is holding all my embossing folders. You can see my smaller dies in the storage box that SU sells along with all my cutting pads, on the top shelf! It keeps me organized and it's so functional! Isn't this wonderful? I'm blessed with a wonderful husband!

If you have ideas on decorating it, I'm all ears! Until then, I'm keeping it simple and clean!

Celebrate with a "Keri-on" project!

I'm looking forward to May, when the flowers are really blooming and beautiful shades of green are emerging everywhere! A new beginning!

So much has happened in the last weekend - Prince William marries his love, Kate; Nancy and Anamaria celebrate birthdays; Stampin' Up's! Summer Mini is here and Osama Bin Laden stands before God to be held accountable for all his actions. IMHO, all these events are worthy of praise.


Here's a birthday present I made for Nancy (shh, don't spoil the surprise!), that I'm about to give her today, a day late. I try to make something that she doesn't already have as she's in my downline and very creative! It's a "Keri-on" bag, get it? It will hold 12 cards & envelopes or if you like to embellish your cards, it will hold 8 of those, with envelopes, quite comfortably! The side pockets would hold your writing materials and stamps! It's made with Beyond the Garden Designer Series Paper from the Summer Mini. I chose Tangerine Tango as the accent color and used Pumpkin Pie Satin Ribbon that matches just right! I also used the new Blossom Bouquet Triple Layer Punch and love how it accents the inside of the white cotton Paper Daisy which is sponged with Daffodil Delight Classic Ink.

(warming up a tad in Michigan)

Still hoping for spring!

It's been raining here in Michigan for over a week now. I love rain and thunder storms, but not for 10 days straight and with dogs who LOVE water! It's all worth it though! Here's a beauty of a card inspired by another demonstrator (if it's you, let me know and I'll give you credit) although I changed it some to make it my own.
With all these April showers, there better be some GREAT FLOWERS this May! : )
