All Occasion Stamp A Stack

This is one of the three cards my All Occasion Stamp-a-Stack class made this past week! I was anxiously awaiting my new Sweet Pea Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up!'s Occasion Mini catalog, but it didn't come in on time! I used another dsp from a past catalog that almost matched. Isn't it beautiful? It's been CASEd from Tiffany Bauer! Thank you, Tiffany!

Monogram Card Class

I had quite a crew of creative stampers here before Christmas for my Monogram Card Class. I thanked them over and over for coming to this class, sight unseen! By special request, here are the cards I designed and their matching packaging made that evening!

STAMP CAMP – Tuesday, 2 December @ 7pm
Although this is a club, I invite you to come and check it out as a new year of Stamp Camp will begin in February 2009 with the release of the new award winning Spring/Summer Collection Idea Book & Catalog! There is no fee for this class, however you must RSVP by Friday, 28 November to have supplies ready for you, agree to purchase $30 in merchandise on the evening of the class and bring your own adhesive. CARDS IN A JAR – Thursday, 4 December @ 7pm
Come and make a great gift to give someone or keep for you. You’ll create 12 gift cards (2 each of 6 designs) with matching envelopes to place in a beautiful jar (included) for $20. DECORATIVE GIFT TILES – Thursday, 11 December @ 7pm
These tiles make gorgeous gifts and your recipients will love them! Come and make two decorative tiles for $10!! This class will require some brief baking of each tile, so these may take some time. You must register and pay class fee by Friday, 5 December. Class size is limited.

COASTER CALENDAR - Wednesday, 17 December @ 7pm
Here’s a great gift to make for your friend or spouse, teacher or maybe you won’t want to part with it! It’s a beautiful hand stamped calendar to bring joy all through 2009! You must RSVP & pay class fee of $15 by Monday, 8 December and bring lots of your own adhesives. Class size is limited.

Dryer Sheet Technique

WOW, I'm a blogger now!

I've had so many private requests for my Dryer Sheet technique, I thought I would post this for everyone to enjoy! Who could have guessed that a used dryer sheet could give such a sparkly snow affect?

1. Take your used dryer sheets and iron them flat.
2. Roll or stamp your image on your cardstock and take outside (if not too windy) or to your garage (to spray them inside would not be good!).
3. Use a spray adhesive (or Mod Podge) to coat your stamped cardstock. I believe the spray adhesive works best!
4. Immediately lay the dryer sheet on your adhesive sprayed cardstock and spread it all across to flatten and smooth.
5. While still wet and as soon as the dryer sheet is evenly flattened on the stamped cardstock, sprinkle Dazzlin' Diamonds glitter all over and dump excess into tray.
6. Set aside to dry completely.
7. Trim off excess dryer sheet and discard.
8. Wrap your cord/ribbon around and adher the dryer sheet piece to the card itself. Voila!

I have a lot of glitter that falls off after applying it, but I do it over a tray and return the excess glitter back into the container. I don't usually have a problem with it, however it does continue to "drift" a little more no matter how many times I've tapped off the excess.
I get the spray adhesive all over my hands and then the dazzlin' diamonds get all over and it's pretty messy. I like doing a lot of these at once because of it!!!
