April Stamp Camp

Life is busy this time of year, isn't it? I'm so excited for spring and the nicer weather is assisting everyone's attitude in the positive after the bitter cold winter season! What a blessing!
These items were made in our April Stamp Camp! We almost had full attendance and as always, the treats made by the hostess were YUMMY!!
The scrapbook page was inspired by Scrapbook Trends magazine, which is loaded with ideas. I used Stampin' Up's! True Friend stamp set. The purse is made with Bali Breeze Designer Series Paper from SU. The card is a fun technique and so beautiful! This "black magic" technique is done with white craft ink and colored in with either the Pure Color Pencils or Metallic Pencils, then outlined with the Uni-ball White Gel Pen, all from Stampin' Up! Who else carries this quality cardstock and assorted stamp sets grouped together for making GREAT PROJECTS????
Hope you like these crafts. Thanks for looking!

Bragging rights!

I'm so warmed when I receive word from one of my campers and/or customers that they've used what I've taught them (or sold them!) and worked up their own creation!! I love the excitement they have when they discover they are creative!!

Here's a card that Heather made for a friend who has just announced her engagement! Heather quickly put her resources to work and voila! This is her masterpiece!

Interesting & Funny?

Take the Quiz">Take the Quiz">
Take the Quiz" border="0" alt="" />

I took this test seven times. The first time I got Patrick Dempsey, second time was David Beckham, then Brad Pitt, Brad Pitt, David Beckham and lastly Brad Pitt. So I guess Brad Pitt is my soulmate! Ha... too bad for him, I kicked him off my list a couple years ago when he left his wife for another woman. He's no good for me, now!!

So I took the test four more times and got David Beckham, Patrick Dempsey, Brad Pitt and David Beckham. I think I'm going to choose Johnny Depp! Oh, I didn't get matched up with him, did I? OK, then I choose Andy Garcia... oh I can't have him either, can I? OK, I'm done playing games like these and I'll stick with my guy!! He's real!

Snowy Stamp Camp!

I had a couple people miss out on our projects last night, so this photo is for you!

This is what you missed, along with some yummy snacks/treats and delightful company, as ALWAYS!

The 12X12 page was made using various punches along with SU's designer series paper, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip Poly-Twill and the new Silver Hodgepodge Hardware found in the Occasions Mini Collection. Although these pieces in the Hodgepodge set are silver, I added a little color to the buckle!! Can you see it? You can color these any color you want to and it's easy, pleasy!!

With St. Patrick's Day coming soon, we made a St. Pat shadow box card. It is way easier than you think and the ideas for this type of card are limitless!!

Then, we played with the RubOns (Love & Happiness) from the Sale-a-Bration set on these candles. I had various colored candles to choose from and with four different color sheets of RubOns (Old Olive, Choc. Chip, Black & White) so no two were alike!! Remember to clean your glass with Windex or the likes to remove any oils on the glass before applying the RubOns! This is a very important tip!!
